Coast to Coast 1991

Me, The beach at Robin Hood's Bay
I walked up the steep hill of Fair Head Lane, with the weather being a lot better than the last 2 days. I took a closer look at the Low and High Bride Stones, then crossed the busy A167 Pickering to Whitby road. I descended into Littlebeck, which is a beautiful part of the Coast to Coast. After passing the Heritage and Falling Foss, I climbed back out to New Beck Farm.
I reached the Sneaton Corner, had a closer look at Postgate Cross. Here I decided to shorten the route a little or cheat a little, but still doing a Coast to Coast and walked down the road to a junction, to take me directly to Robin Hood’s Bay passing the Flyingdales Inn and down the cobbled road to the Bay Hotel for a couple of pints and sat outside in the afternoon shine.
Then that was it, my 2nd crossing of Coast to Coast finished. I continued back up the steep bank to the bus-stop and got my bus back to Whitby to change for Teesside.
