Day Eleven

Woke up around about 6:00am, had bit of a rough night, probably too much beer or was it the greasy Mixed-Grill. The grass was heavy with morning dew and had to go to the toilet. The weather was lousy with mist on the top of the Cleveland escarpment, although this cleared later on.

I packed up and got walking about 8:30am, popping in the local shop for a sandwich. I reached Huthwaite Green, then over the whale backs of the escarpment. I stopped at the Lord’s Stone café, where I had my sandwich with a cup of tea. The weather is still full of hill mist.

I decided to take the Jet-Miner’s track to Clay Bank, then over Urra Moor. I continued past Bloworth Crossing to try and find a route down into Farndale, to find my next bed and breakfast at Mrs. Stanley. Head House Farm, Church Houses.
