Coast to Coast 1991

Me, on Anglers Crag, Ennerdale Water
Woke up at 7:15am, got up 7:45am. Got the gear into the ruc-sac and got ready for breakfast. Breakfast was much better than yesterday, this consisted of egg, bacon and beans with a scone! Very Nice.
I set off to climb up the steep Loft Beck which is a tough one with a loaded ruc-sac and took me half a hour to reach the top. I rested there a while to admire the views of Ennerdale, also decided to walk along the ridge to Haystacks to pay my respects to Mr. Wainwright who died on 20th January 1991. The views here were very impressive of Ennerdale and Buttermere and can understand why Wainwright wanted his ashes to be scattered here. I walked back to the main path and continued down the slate track to Honister Hause.
I decided to have another break seeing I was booked in for the night at Longthwaite Youth Hostel, so I had plenty of time to kill. The weather is lovely with clear skies, saw a fighter jet roar overhead and whizzed down into Honister Pass. I decided to take to the toll road into Seatoller and again another break with a cup of tea in the information shop. I got to the hostel about 1:00pm and had a lovely warm shower.
